[Comic] Grand Chase Mari (Fortified with yaoi and shonen ai )

This has been a personal project of mine. But I've been doing not-so quite accurate translations of the GC Webcomic that's featuring Mari's origins and adventures with the gang.

Translator's notes: Basically, Mari is your generic yaoi fangirl that got flushed into a toilet (KKM) and popped up in Bermesiah. Armed with her yaoi manga, she braves this strange, new world.

Jin is straight gay (according to Chapter 8), Lass is gay (ain't he always), Ryan is scorned, and Mari finds out that her obsession becomes a power.

[Manga] Koiha Ina Mono Mouna Mono

Despite the long awkward name, it just means 'Secret Love'. Weird huh?

From one of my favorite authors, Zaou Taishi, comes a slice of life, supernatural story about a guy with the ability to foresee dreams. Accidents, fortune, misfortune, whenever he dreams of something; it happens sooner or later.

But what is he to do when he suddenly has dreams of doing ecchi stuff...with a guy he never even met before? Meet Masafumi (glasses guy) and Seiwa (happy guy).

The art is delicious, but the thing I found wonderful the most is the seme. Oh god, he's so peppy. xD And so naive, and on the prime of his youth! For a seme, he's quite cute and clueless! What's an uke got to do? =w=

[Anime]The Season's BL - First Quarter Yaoi/Slash anime of 2010

The new lineup for the Spring 2010 Anime is out, and it looks like good tidings for the ardent yaoi fan. There's a whole lot to choose from, but let me point them out for you.

Yaoi fans are clamoring for Uragiri wa Boku (or Uraboku for short) as the manga title was deemed "BL" even for commercial standards. The art is crisp and the story was made by the same mangaka who did "Only the Ring Finger Knows".

 

Ookiku Furikabutte (or Oofuri) recieved awards on its first season, and is expected to do even better. The series is about high school baseball, but unlike your standard shonen series, the focus isn't in the play or techniques, but on the PLAYERS itself. If you haven't seen Season 1, go watch now!

Also, Junjou Romantica fans would probably want to see this.

Haha, yeah. Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi anime is now in the works! Cameos from the JR cast will be seen, but the hype is up now (especially to the Season 2 deprived fans of the JR works). 

The March issue of Kadokawa Shoten's Ciel magazine is announcing on Saturday that plans for a television anime adaptation of Shungiku Nakamura's Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi boys-love manga are in the works. The story follows the tension between a newly recruited manga editor and his tyrannical editor-in-chief — who happen to share a common past.

[Manga ] Otona Keikenchi - Adult Experience

Back from armor making, and boy do I have a lot of stuff for you guys!

Yumeji has a big problem, and no, it's not that he's gay (for now, anyway). Despite his good looks, excellent grades, and talent for sports, he's not getting any, and it has everything to do with the fact that he's impotent thanks to a traumatizing event back in middle school. Nothing seems to help, and since Viagra is apparently not a viable solution in Japan, he's practically lost all hope--until he meets underclassmen Seiji, who's violent, tactless, and says whatever is on his mind. Conveniently enough, he's also in love with Yumeji.

OMG. I love it! Just love it! Tall uke and short, volatile seme. Ngghhhh!! XD It's practically everything I've wanted. The weirdness of the situation plus impotence plus smell fetish plus sadistic tendencies and hard-to-get attitudes, wowee.

The pictures here don't do justice, and I will only upload the first few pages (since the next ones have R-18 stuff, you best read it first).

There's a special chapter dedicated to Mu-kun and Maru, and it's so cute. xD (I adore Mu-kun's hair just as how Shinkai adores Seiji). Colored pages in the last chapter too. =D Ain't that a treat?

[Manga] Ze

After the death of his grandmother and only remaining relative, Shinakawa Raizou moves in with the mysterious Mitou family as their housekeeper. He soon learns the Mitou family's secret: the Mitou can use great power with only their words. But because this power harms the body of the user, the Mitou pair up with human-like paper dolls to transfer their wounds to them through bodily fluid contact.

One of the longer mangas you'll probably read (I am currently still reading it), but I've never been moved to tears and just fapped to this because it is AWESOME.

To expand on the short summary, Shinakawa Raizou, a tall blond teen moves in to the capital to continue his studies. But to fund his housing expenses, he decides to do housework for the Mitou family. The family is made up of the master puppeteer, 3 kotodama-samas (humans who can use word spirit, or command anyone to do their bidding at a price using their body), and 4 kami-samas (kami means 'paper', basically they're shikigamis. Not humans, they do not bleed, have a weakness for water, and feel like a human but have no heart and no warmth.)

The reason why I love this manga is because the seme is probably one of the most earnest characters I have ever seen. Raizou (nice name btw) exemplifies the epitome of a country boy. Honest, passive, reliant, polite, earnest, and very loyal to family (or his deceased grandmother for that matter. If you're not crying by the end of the Raizou arc, you're not human!)

The art is unimpressive for those who are used to reading too much /y/ but the character designs all make up for it. I am pretty sure you'll find someone to be your favorite, whether he be a kotodama-sama or a kami-sama.

The next chapters will deal with the other family members of the Mitou clan. Technically, my only favorite was Raizou and Kon, and Shoui and Asari (one of my favorite kami).

I wept, I felt my heart ripped, I fapped. One of the better underrated mangas out there.

 

 

 

Just to avoid confusion, kotodama and kami HAVE to be of the same sex. >:)

[Manga] Chara Cafe Relish ni Oide

This is another awesome manga made by a MALE yaoi mangaka, Takatsuki Noboru. Chara Cafe Relish is awesome in a sense that IT.IS.FUCKIN.MADE by a male yaoi mangaka without looking too bara.

The story is about a cafe that is almost in a brink of closure, but thanks to Ookami Kyousuke, a former host, the cafe finds life again thanks to his idea of making it into a male "maid cafe".

The art is very delicious, and this is the one time I'd wish for a porn-without-plot piece from Takatsuki-sensei.
